If the Heart Of The World is pure and all knowing,
How did we travel so far from the core?
What have we done with the gifts that were given?
Have we gone too far?

I heard of a people once lived in Australia,
Once lived in Columbia, once lived in Peru;
In touch with the Earth, with the plants, with all life forms,
Who honoured all Spirit and were guided by Truth.

I heard of the Inca devoted to worship,
Indian, Hawaiian, devoted to Earth;
If we great survivors have forgotten the Mother,
The value of progress has lost all it's worth.

The Heart Of The World is pure,
We have traveled so far,
What have we done with the gifts?
Is there hope for the future now?

Let us sing our way back to the Heart Of The World,
Let us walk in bare feet upon the Earth once more,
Let us pray our way back to the Heart Of The World,
Let us listen to Nature, to sky, to the shore!
